BECKENHAM SUMMER FAIR SET TO SIZZLE!
Town Centre Management is delighted to bring this family event to Beckenham Green from Thursday 28th July until Sunday 31st July.
The event will include an Italian Market from 9am to 6pm every day, a mini fun fair for children up to the age of 10, music from ‘You Tuba’, a brass quartet performing on Thursday 28th July and Saturday 30th July and from Swing, Rat Pack and Jump Jive; ‘Lounge Sounds’ Friday 29th July and Sunday 31st July.
Bromley was recently launched as a Heart Town to mark the 50th anniversary of British Heart Foundation. The Council will be supporting the BHF in a major fund raising campaign for research into how to literally Mend a Broken Heart as well as increasing awareness of about its work to tackle heart disease.
Heart FM Angels will doing face painting at the event this Saturday, 30 July, the BHF will have a stand and the Spa at Beckenham will bring dance and fitness to Beckenham residents with the Zumba and MTV!
Potter Raper Partnership (PRP), a Multi-Discipline Construction Consultancy in Beckenham, will be sponsoring the event and employees of PRP have volunteered their time for a week in July to work in the Beckenham BHF shop.
William Martin, Senior Partner of PRP, says; “We are delighted to give our time to the BHF and support Bromley Council’s campaign to raise awareness of heart disease. This is a chance for all local businesses to come together to help and support charities as well as local community events.”
Another local business, Friends of Mine will join the event on Saturday and will bring delicious canapés and meze delights from their menu for you to whet your appetite. Tony Plado, Owner says; “We are thrilled to support this community event.”
There will be gas main replacement work during July and early August, in order to alleviate the disruption caused in the High Street as there will be reduced parking availability in Albemarle Road, 2 hour time limited free parking has been permitted in the High Street between Rectory Road and Church Avenue as indicated by signs during this period.

It promises to be a great 4 days of entertainment for all the family. So make you sure you don’t miss out.
Beckenham Green is next to St George’s Church and opposite Breeze Yoga.
