For beginners and for people who prefer less strenuous yoga or get back into yoga after a break Spend an hour quality time with yourself, let your body and breath to guild to release your intention and lift your spirit before your lunch time. £12 drop-in.

I've practiced yoga for more than twenty-five years. Hsin is one of the best teachers I've ever had (and there have been quite a few!). I can already feel an improvement in my flexibility, posture, strength and muscle tone. Hsin's approach is to stress the importance of doing the little things well, and creating a solid foundation to build upon. Her classes are carefully tailored so all participants can benefit from them—a welcome change to many overcrowded classes offered at leisure centres where less able students are left to their own devices and expected to keep up with everyone else. Hsin's classes are definitely not a soft option: by holding asanas for longer (sometimes with the aid of bands, blocks, walls and chairs) alignment can be finessed, and a deeper, more intense result achieved. You still get a work out, and your body will feel wonderfully stretched, but this is gained safely without the muscle tear and strain that more vigorous styles of aerobic yoga tend to cause.
